Workshops and classes

Wednesday Classes, Saturday Workshops and Printing Workshops for members take place from September to March. Experienced tutors are engaged for a series of three Wednesday Classes and teach on a variety of topics: the classes provide a great opportunity for our artists to learn new techniques, push their boundaries into different subjects or media, and be inspired by excellent tutors and their peers. The Saturday Workshops run once a month and offer the chance to work ‘in the style of’ a well-known artist or in a particular genre, in order to infuse our work with fresh elements; the workshops are challenging, exciting and fun. Our Printing Workshops offer you the opportunity to explore new techniques and media in a friendly supportive environment.

Help in printing techniques will be given by other members on the day.

Members of the Society receive information about these programmes each year and are advised to register their interest early as the classes and workshops tend to be very popular and are often over-subscribed. All classes and workshops are held at the English Bridge Workshop, Shrewsbury.
