Wednesday Classes, Saturday Workshops and Printing Workshops take place from September to March. Experienced tutors are engaged for a series of three Wednesday Classes and teach on a variety of topics: the classes provide a great opportunity for our artists to learn new techniques, push their boundaries into different subjects or media, and be inspired by excellent tutors and their peers. The Saturday Workshops run once a month and offer the chance to work ‘in the style of’ a well-known artist or in a particular genre, in order to infuse our work with fresh elements; the workshops are challenging, exciting and fun. Our Printing Workshops offer you the opportunity to explore new techniques and media in a friendly supportive environment.

Printing Workshops 2019/2020

Drop in (for members) printing workshops will be held from 10am to 4pm at the English Bridge Workshop on September 25th, October 23rd, November 20th, January 29th, February 26th and March 25th.

We have a small supply of printing papers, Japanese vinyl (lino) and dry point plates which can be purchased if required. We have a small table press purchased in 2018 by the Society for our use. Help in printing techniques will be given by other members on the day.

Members should complete their Expression of Interest Form to receive information about these programmes each year, and are advised to respond early as the classes and workshops tend to be very popular and are often over-subscribed. All classes and workshops are held at the English Bridge Workshop, Shrewsbury.
